Dr Mehul Patel
CAA-Authorised Aeromedical Examiner · NHS GP
Dr Mehul Patel is an experienced GP who combines a longstanding passion for medicine and aviation in his role as a CAA-authorised Aeromedical Examiner. He completed his basic and advanced Aviation Medicine qualifications at King's College London.
Alongside his work as an Aeromedical Examiner and GP, he serves as Treasurer of the Association of Aeromedical Examiners, and as Director of AI and Digital Health at Prova Health, where he helps healthcare organisations adopt new technology safely and effectively.
Outside work, he enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for aviation with his children, whether that's visiting the Yorkshire Air Museum, building Airfix models, or spending time at airshows.

Step 01

Choose a time slot in our online booking system. Short notice, weekend and evening appointments can be offered by arrangement.
Step 02
Receive your information
Once you have booked, we will email you everything you need to know before your appointment, including what to bring and what to expect on the day.
Step 03
Attend your medical
Most certificates are issued on the day. Where further medical information is needed, either from your GP or a specialist, we will help you navigate this with a clear plan and transparent costs.
